Who We Are

We are a community devoted to Episcopalian worship, fellowship, and openhearted hospitality to all our island neighbors and the visitors who join us. We are a congregation that welcomes doubt, questions, and individuality.

We are committed to supporting our island community. St. David’s donates to our local food bank and family resource center, provides a space for AA meetings, choir practices and Hospice grief support groups, and operates an affordable preschool to serve working families.

Thanks to devoted volunteers, St. David’s has a strong music program, a growing children’s ministry, pastoral care opportunities, and much more.

St. David’s embodies the Episcopal Church’s legacy of inclusion; people of all genders and sexualities are invited to participate fully in the worship, ministry, and governance of the parish.

  • We acknowledge the Central Coast Salish people, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and live, and recognize their continuing connection to the land, water, and air that we consume. We pay respect to the tribes of the San Juan Islands (Sooke, Saanich, Songhees, Lummi, Samish, Semiahmoo), all Nations, and their elders past, present, and emerging.
