The next session of Beyond the Canon (aka, the Saint David’s Book Club) will meet on Wednesday, July 31st at 5:30 PM. We will discuss and reflect on Greg Boyle’s latest book, The Whole Language: the Power of Extravagant Tenderness. Father Greg is a Jesuit priest and the founder of Homeboy Industries, a ministry focused on restoration and wholeness of former gang members in Los Angeles. Father Greg was recently awarded a presidential medal of freedom, and his work is often cited Cristi’s and Stephanie’s sermons. Join us we explore Father Greg’s tender and remarkable words.
